Pascuali Yarns

Balayage Hand Dyed

The fun colours of this yarn were developed in collaboration with knitwear designer Melanie Berg! Pascuali Balayage possesses a light mottled grey shade, achieved by combining 80% white and grey baby alpaca fibers with 20% white organic merino wool.

This combination creates a natural hand-dyed colour feel, resulting in a harmonious colour palette with limitless possibilities. Pascuali Balayage is perfect for shawls and scarves. It also lends itself beautifully for sweaters and cardigans. Its fine stitch definition is ideal for cables, lace and colorwork such as Fair Isle. The mixture of delicate baby alpaca and fine merino wool makes Pascuali Balayage a yarn that is soft and gentle on the skin. It can be worn by those with the most sensitive skin and is also suitable for baby and childrens’ clothing and accessories.

Pascuali Balayage developed with Melanie Berg, offers a total of five different colour schemes, each consisting of four individual colours, which are designed according to the principle of colour gradients. When you combine colours from one scheme, a harmonious colour effect is created; when you combine colours from different schemes, exciting contrasts result! We now offer one hand-dyed special dyeing per colour group – perfectly matching its innate colours into simple beauty! Although the hanks are dyed in batches of 1kg, we make every effort to achieve the greatest possible lot uniformity.

80% Alpaca (BabyAlpaca)
20% Virgin Wool (Organic Merino extra fine, 21,5 micron, mulesing free)

Our latest yarn Balayage, an alpaca-merino mix, which we developed together with the knitwear designer Melanie Berg, stands out not only because of its wonderful yarn quality but also because of its fantastic colour palette: A total of five different colour schemes, each consisting of four individual colours, which were designed according to the principle of colour gradients. If you combine colours from one scheme, a very harmonious colour effect is created; if you combine colours from different schemes, exciting contrasts are the result.
